Get The Right Advice Before Settling Compensation

Martin came to us, following the recommendation from one of our former clients. At that point, Martin had already contacted a local firm of solicitors and they had agreed to take on his case. However, they had limited his claim to a maximum of £25,000, even though he had suffered serious orthopaedic injuries. The injuries had profoundly affected his sporting life and Martin felt unhappy with the result.Even though it was very difficult to prove liability for Martin’s accident, we were able to achieve a very good settlement for him. We did this by holding a “round table” meeting, where both sides met to try and resolve the issues in the claim. This enabled Martin to rebuild his life. Martin, in his own words, wrote to David as follows:

“Hi David

I just want to take the time to thank you for all you have done. I know this case has been anything but simple but you’ve stuck with me through the process.

I thank you for yours and Lee’s continued understanding and co-operation. I can now start my life and try to build a brighter and better future.”

This case shows the importance of getting an opinion from specialist injury lawyers. The fact that Martin came to us via another client’s recommendation is the best possible testimony of our work.
